29 Logan St. Marion NC
Marion’s Festival of Trees is in downtown Marion at the Miller Complex (29 Logan St.) from Friday 11/26- Friday 12/10. This charity event was set up for a multitude of reasons but mostly for the community and neighboring communities to come and have a family filled evening while giving back during the holiday season.
We have 22 Christmas Trees set up inside the building. Different churches, businesses, groups and organizations have “adopted” the trees and decorated them very creatively! The public is encouraged to come VOTE for a tree by bringing a NEW- Unwrapped toy and placing it underneath their favorite tree. The tree with the most toys after 2 weeks wins. Each tree chose a charity and the proceeds raised from the tree adoption goes to that charity of choice of the winning tree. All of the toys will go to McDowell County’s Project Christmas who supplies local children with presents.
Plus there are many new businesses in the Miller Complex so it can be a very enjoyable evening or day for the whole family to eat, roller skate, tour the facility or shop. All while donating to some great causes!
