Press Release -The McDowell Democratic Party has elected its new slate of officers.
Local business owner Michelle Price was elected to serve as Chairman.
Michelle is a former candidate for McDowell County Commissioner and has been involved with groups such as The Jackson-Macon Conservation Alliance, Land of Sky Regional Council, RiverLink, Inc. and The Buncombe County Soil and Water Conservation District.
Other officers elected were: Billy Martin; Vice-Chair, Marty Elliott 3rd Vice Chair, Jennifer Howerth; Treasurer, Israel Poole; Secretary.
